From Rick at Jan 27, 2017

Question: other than length , are there any other difference between the 6ft and 7ft, ?

From Yuriy at Jan 10, 2017

Question: With an 11gpm prince pump, what RPMs do I run the tractor so it is efficient and safe?

Answer: You should be running the tractor at 540.

From Gary K at Jan 7, 2017

Question:  Do the 6 ft or 7 ft Backhoe come with a sub/frame kit or just 3 pt set up. and will my 2016 boomer 47 Newholland need a had/pump kit. 01/07/17

Answer: The LW backhoes run strictly off the 3 point set up. If you operate it using the output on your tractor, you would have to purchase an external PTO pump. We typically recommend a Prince pump with at least 11 gallon per minute flow.

From Greg at Nov 28, 2016

Question: Do any of the backhoes you offer have an option to add a sub-frame mounting vs. the 3 point?

From Bill at Sep 27, 2016

Question: My questions pertain to hydraulics setup;
1) Is there a relief in system? On control valve?
2) Are there hoses for connecting reservoir/control valve to pump?
3) Is there a return line filter? If not, do I need one?
4) Pump suggestions? Prince HC-PTO-2A?

Answer: There is a relief valve on the control valve assembly of the backhoe. There is a feed and return hose with the backhoe. Those will be the only hoses you need if you are operating it off an external pto pump. There is an internal filter (within the tank). No additional filter is needed. That Prince pump will work fine. As long as it has a 11.6 GPM.

From John at Sep 12, 2016

Question: Will this work with my Kubota B2620 tractor ? Do I need to buy a PTO bump for this ? Anything else needed to make this work with my tractor ? Thanks in advance.

Answer: As long as your tractor is a category 1, it will fit. You will need to purchase a PTO pump for this, or you could use your tractors hydraulics for it.

From Lee Baca at Apr 20, 2016

Question: Hello I am interested in the 7' ft 3 Point Backhoe with Thumb Excavator, I plan on purchasing a pto pump, how big is the hydraulic tank that comes with the backhoe. What is the GPM for this backhoe is it 11 gpm? What all do I need if I use the PTO hydraulic pump, im assuming i need the hoses to connect to the hydraulic tank on the backhoe, what else would I need? Can you please email me a pdf of the installation of this backhoe? All the help on this would greatly be appreciated. I have a kabota L4600 with front hydraulics but not hydraulic attachments to the back. It is a 3 point and cat 1, what is a cleaner set up using a PTO hydraulic pump or hooking up to the existing hydraulics of the tractor? I know in the notes it states that we would have to bypass the tractor hydraulic tank I am assuming then we would use the backhoe hydraulic tank instead. I just want to get the information so I can make an informed decision on what I should do. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Lee

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry! You would need at least a 10 GPM, but I would highly recommend you call our office and talk with my friend Michael, he is very experienced with these backhoes. You are able to call him at 800-605-8241.

Best Regards -Austin
