Questions on 10' Multifold Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp
Question: I have 5 step stairs. I need to wheel my mom in and out of her apartment, will a 10' ramp work and if not what is the best size I should be looking for?
Question: Ok I'm 6' 220 in very good shape. My friend is 185 in a wheelchair the weighs 50 lbs. I have a GMC savana with the curbside passenger seat removed. The floor height is 26" give or take. Will i be able to muscle her up the 10 ramp in a chair that has no safety wheels on the back?
Question: I have 2 steps stair in front of my house total of 20" rise. is the 10 feet ramp okay?
Answer: Yes, the 10' Multi fold Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp would work for your stairs. I hope this helps!
Question: I have 2 steps stair in front of my house total of 20" rise. My son is 105 lbs, I'm 195 lbs plus the wheelchair. Will use to going up and down. What size of ramp is good?
Answer: I would recommend the 10' Multifold Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp for your step height. I hope this helps!
Question: Does your ramps have top lips attached?
Answer: These ramps will have a 2.5" angled lip with holes to secure the ramps in place. They are affixed to the ramp and can not be removed.
Question: Can this be folded into smaller? Do you have more pictures? Video?
Answer: Yes this ramp does fold down to a smaller size. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have additional pictures of this product folded.
Question: I have a 16" incline will an 8ft or 10ft be best
Answer: An 8ft would work just fine.
Question: I need a ramp for a 33" rise to wheel my mom in and out for the holidays. She weighs around 250 lbs. what length would i need?
Answer: According to the ramp length calculator, for a 33" rise for an occupied wheelchair/scooter, for residential, it should be 17'. Unfortunately, our longest ramp is 10'.
Question: I have a 26 inch rise that I need to get people in a wheelchair up and down the stairs.
What length of ramp would I need to buy?
10 ft or 12 ft?
Answer: If this is residential, it will need to be 12'. If this is commercial, it will need to be 26'.
Question: So I bought this ramp to cover a 20" rise for my mother-in-law in her wheelchair. How can I get the ramp to have less deflection and to keep the non-hinged section from drooping in the center? My wife is afraid to use it since there is so much bounce and shifting of the extensions.
Answer: Thank you for contacting us! Since this is a multi-fold ramp, there will be some bounce towards the center. Some customers have added blocks and planks of wood under the center to help prevent this. Unless you purchase a solid steel ramp, any multi-fold ramp will have this issue. I can assure you, as long as the capacity is not exceeded, this ramp will be safe for use. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
